Grupo Lokito features nine wonderful musicians from both Congolese and Cuban tradition that have chosen to make London their home. They have wowed London’s Salsa, African, Club and Festival audiences and are now coming to Thoresby as part
of their UK tour. The tour coincides with the release of their first Album “Esengo Ya Ko Bina”. Book now!!!
The live show is an exuberant display of the sheer joy of this great music. The singers shift effortlessly between melodious rumba and lively salsa before the band slips seamlessly into “Seben” (coined “the dancing part of the music”) with soaring guitars and wild choreographed dance moves. Don’t miss this fantastic band that is making waves both here and in Kinshasa.
