Set in the heart of North Nottinghamshire with stunning vistas of the Country Park, Thoresby is a unique venue and popular choice for any conference or corporate event with a wide range of facilities that allow for flexibility and creativity.
Conferences are held in the Riding Hall, a Grade I listed building with an elegant Victorian arched ceiling and the wow factor that will set your conference apart. The telescopic theatre seating can hold up to 250 delegates, or a more informal conference banqueting setting can be arranged. Themed conferences have ranged from an Oscar style entertainment conference to a medieval meeting and the room can be ‘made over’ for evening banquets.
If you want to be more adventurous with company development days, the Courtyard is set amidst the 14,000 acre Thoresby Estate, including a lake, forests and walks (or runs), offering great opportunities for creative training and team building activities.
We can take care of the arrangements to let you concentrate on your delegates.
During conference breaks your delegates can take a stroll in the park, browse the Gallery, watch artists at work or indulge in the retail shops in the Courtyard .
Conveniently located close to the A1 & M1, Thoresby has excellent road, rail and plane links. We are centrally located as a conference venue in the immediate vicinity of Newark, Retford, Worksop.
